Our Open Gardens project is modeled on the successful,
long-standing tradition of Open Gardens in England.
Private gardens are
graciously made available to the public on a particular day at a particular
time.
Visitors are allowed to simply drop by. Our Open Gardens are listed
below by neighborhoods.

BLACKROCK/RIVERSIDE
- The Garden of Sharon and John Adler:

Our garden features ornamental trees, a natural-looking rock garden with succulents, roses and perennials that fill this city-sized lot. A trumpet vine-laden arbor with a lovely water garden highlights the backyard.

- The Garden of Bonnie Eschborn:

This garden is a poster child for an abandoned property torn down, and turned into an entire city lot that looks like a park. There are trees, perennials, annuals, doodads, a water feature, and gazebo. It adjoins our neighbor at 77 Beatrice through a back gate. It’s a must see!

- The Garden of Rosemary Fudella:

An ever-changing garden with annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetables, taking a small city yard into a garden oasis. A water fountain and a variety of ornamental animals hiding among the blooms finishes up this garden.

- The Garden of Ana Heaton:

A country-styled garden on a double city lot that includes the front, side and back of the house. Our garden houses a large variety of plants and flowers. We have a rose garden, a vegetable garden and many containers.

- The Garden of Walter Kozlowski:

This is a large back yard, in addition to front and side yards, with colonnade fruit trees in containers, small water features, and a vegetable garden. There are also grape vines and shrub roses and a Harry Lauder’s Walking Stick. The frog garden features more than 30 frog statues of varying sizes and materials.
Easy walking, level ground.
