2012 Front Yard Garden Competition:
Riverside's Crowley Avenue Gott a Green Makeover

After the excitement of the 2010 and 2011 Front Yard Competition in which city blocks were dramatically transformed by members of the WNYS Nursery & Landscape Association, the event returned in 2012 with the goal of rejuvenating Crowley Avenue in Riverside.

Modeled after a London, England garden contest, the 2012 National Garden Festival event included a whole block of front yards facing the Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Riverside Park and feature the talents of Western New York’s best landscape professionals.
