Horticulture 1 Certificate Series
with David Clark, Horticulturist

The Certificate Program is for the serious gardeners, as well as, those who just want to know more than gardening basics.  To earn the certificate, you must attend all six classes, but individual classes may be taken if desired.  (Classes will be repeated in 2013 in the event that you must miss one.)  If you’ve ever attended a class that David has taught, you know you’re in for a memorable experience!  David has a wealth of knowledge and is able to convey his subject with infectious enthusiasm.  Be entertained while you learn!

11am-1pm, Garden Members $105 for series or $20 per class
Non-Members $130 for series or $25 per class

Master Gardeners of Erie County
April 14, 28, May 12, 26, June 9, 23, July 7, 21, August 4, 18, September 1, 15, 29

Master Gardeners will be at the Gardens to answer gardening questions.  Bring your soil to test! Soil testing will be done while you wait. For a small fee of $5, you may bring up to three different samples. Soil remediation strategies will be suggested based on the findings. Proceeds from the soil testing benefit the Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners of Erie County.  Please call 827.1584 ext. 291 for information on how to take your soil samples.

Celebration of Color - June 16 - August 5 - NEW this year!
10am-5pm - $9 Adults, $8 Seniors (55+) & Students (13+ with ID), $5 Kids 3-12, Members and kids under 3 are always Free!

Nature has so much color to offer and we are going to highlight it!  From our front walkway, outdoor perennial shrub garden to our indoor tropical paradise... the Gardens will be bursting with colorful plants and flowers!

9am-12pm - Garden Members child $80 per week or $17 per day; Non-Members child $90 per week or $19 per day - Don’t become a victim of kids’ classic summer chant, “There’s nothing to do around here.  I’m bored”.  Sign them for a week or two of art fun with professional artist and teacher, Joan Saba.  Space is limited so register early.  Call 827.1584 ext. 291.
